I Received the following email from CodeGear today (see below) about my support and maintenance agreement for Delphi for PHP which is going to expire soon. I like the bit where they say I will “receive a proposal” for the renewal. I sincerely hope that means all the people which purchased the support will get a discount due to the bugs and instability in the current version of Delphi for PHP? We can only wait and hope!!

With this message we inform you that your support and maintenance agreement with ID [agreement number] for Delphi PHP is up for renewal per April 13th 2008. In order to ensure continued support and maintenance to protect your software investment, this agreement requires to be renewed.

You will receive a proposal for the renewal either from CodeGear directly, or from a CodeGear representative company. If you wish to receive an immediate quotation, or have other comments about your support and maintenance contract, please reply to this message and we will respond to you within a few business days. Since the CodeGear representative companies work mostly independently, it is possible that you were already contacted for this renewal. In that case, you can ignore this message.

You receive this message since you are registered as Primary Contact on this contract. If you should no longer have this role, please reply to this message and confirm the name, phone and email address of the new Primary Contact.
